Krone’s Coil Liners provide
Maximum Load Security

Commercial Vehicle Asset Management Ltd has recently taken delivery of 6 Krone Curtain Side Coil Liners for its new contract with ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Manchester. ArcelorMittal is the world’s leading steel company with operators in more than 60 countries. The Krone Coil Liner has been specifically designed for the secure transportation of steel rolls and coils. The body is based on the celebrated Krone Profi Liner flat bed semi trailer which has formed the basis for future Krone flatbeds. The reinforced chassis has numerous braces to withstand extreme loads and comes with a 7.23m-8.84m coil well for further load stability. The trailer is forklift compatible and equipped as standard with the new patented multi-load secure, side rave system. The system provides up to 3,000 possible strapping points with ten pairs of external heavy duty strapping rings and internal plug in posts to ensure professional load securing throughout, a major safety benefit to operators in the UK. The clever design ensures the safe transportation of steel rolls and has proven reliability while saving our clients time and money.’ To ensure further load safety Krone have added two sets of pull out steps on either side of the trailer for ease of use and safe access in and out of the trailer. ‘We are very impressed with the performance of the trailers, the added safety features mean less risk of accidents and injury.
