The Yearsley Group freshens up its fleet with a delivery of new Krone Cool Liner Duoplex Steel trailers. The Yearsley Group specialise in frozen food sales & logistics throughout the UK and Europe. The Yearsley Group is number 1 in the UK for frozen food logistics following their acquisition of Innovate Frozen in 2008. They now operate from 13 locations and have a fleet of over 300 vehicles. Their industry leading operating systems ensure their client base is provided with exceptional levels of customer service.
The sales division sells and distribute a complete range of branded and own label frozen foods suitable for all sectors of the marketplace. They specialize in providing bespoke and innovative products including those suitable for special dietary requirements. The Krone Cool Liner Duoplex Steel trailers are the newest additions to the Yearsley Group fleet which includes Articulated Lorries, Rigids, and Single and Double Deck trailers. “The new Cool Liner trailer design from Krone is durable and built to last.” Commented Group Engineering Manager Kevin Chrystal, from Yearsley Group. He continued, “Since the delivery, our drivers have commented on the performance of the trailers and the smoothness of the pull when on the road.” The Cool Liner Duoplex Steel has a robust design and is tailored to the rigorous requirements of temperature controlled logistics.
Its solid chassis and continuous steel panels provide maximum load capacity while the reinforced foam topped floor provides ultimate insulation and energy efficiency. “We looked at other competitor trailer options but found that the Cool Liner design fitted our operation more specifically.
The design has been well thought out and we are happy with the performance of the trailers so far.” added Kevin. The innovative design from Krone offers high quality temperature controlled performance while cutting running costs. Equipped with a ten year KTL paint corrosion cover, Krone trailers are built to last.
